Our Story

Since 1976, the story of Iordanis Jewelry began with its founder, Iordanis Dailoglou. Inheriting the art of goldsmithing from Armenian craftsmen, he furthered his education at the Sivitaneidios School.

With steadfast support from his life partner, Ifigeneia, they committed themselves to the craft of jewelry, amassing 40 years of experience. Together, they nurtured a loving family of four sons, three daughters, and 21 grandchildren.

Today, the mantle of leadership rests with Dimitris Iordanis Dailoglou,, the third son of the founders. As he embarks on this new chapter, he extends profound gratitude to his parents for instilling him with invaluable values that continue to guide him on the extraordinary journey of IORDANIS JEWELRY. Their enduring influence shapes his path as he remains dedicated to upholding their legacy of excellence.

Dimitris I. Dailoglou

Embracing a new era, Dimitris Dailoglou assumes the helm of the company, introducing innovative ideas, digital solutions, and a personalized approach.

With a profound family legacy and genuine passion for jewelry, he combines extensive expertise with a fresh perspective.

Dimitris Iordanis Dailoglou stands among the esteemed ranks of GIA (Gemological Institute of America), holding six prestigious titles, including "Graduate Gemologist," "Graduate Diamonds," "Graduate Colored Stones," "Accredited Jewelry Professional," and "Pearl Grading Awards." He also possesses a license from the Technical Vocational Educational School of Attica, specializing in silversmithing within the realm of Applied Arts.

History Timeline

1976

Iordanis at the age of 19 established IORDANIS Jewelry Workshop in the downtown of Athens.

1980

His first collection quickly emerged as one of the most renowned tourist jewelry collections, drawing inspiration from the rich history of Greece, leading to placements in over 300 stores throughout Greece and Cyprus.

1981

As a founding member of the Goldsmiths Association, we initiated jewelry shows at the Grand Britain Hotel. We also actively participated in wholesaling exhibitions.

1984

Iordanis moved his workshop at the north area of Athens, Chalandri. At the same time he made his first steps in retail since the workshop was located in the main Shopping Center.

1986

More collections enriching the kind of designs and this time it was bridal moments that inspired him so the

Wedding Collection

was born.

1991

Iordanis workshop become a starting and learning point for many of his apprentices, during the time of teaching the art at the silversmith's school.

1994

"Grand Opening"

Appreciating his artistic nature, renowned businessman Andreas Ellinas inaugurates the first retail store of IORDANIS jewelry on the pedestrian street of Chalandri.

1997

Names turned into personalized jewelry, sparking a nationwide trend. Iordanis' distinctive graphic style was the key to this extraordinary achievement. Wholesale production of personalized name jewelry dominated 80% of the Greek jewelry market.

1999

A second store was born at the heart of the marketplace Kifissia with Iordanis collections in leading role and high end jewelry of other talented artists from all over the world.

2004

Dimitris Iordanis Dailoglou becomes a member of GIA having acquired six titles

2006

IORDANIS collaborated with some of the best pearls's growers in the world such as MIKIMOTO and PASPALEYS. Having an advantage for it's big selection of all kind of pearls, people used to name the store as pearls center.

2010

IORDANIS at Chalandri was renovated to welcome the upcoming generation,

2011

IORDANIS brothers now take the lead. Vangelis Iordanis Dailoglou excels in digital 3D jewelry modeling and CNS expertise. Vasilis Daioglou, a Commerce School graduate, infuses new energy with his sales and public relations talents.

2023

Dimitris Iordanis is now the Managing Director of the Company.
